What happens if I'm not based in Brisbane?That is totally fine! I service all areas of of South-East Queensland. For clients based outside a 50km radius of the Brisbane area, a travel fee is manually added to your invoice calculated by services provided, distance, and transit time. Interstate (and international) clients are more than welcome, too! Please contact me and I can walk you through the travel costs associated.

How do I receive my content?After our session, you will receive your high-resolution content via a Dropbox link. Timeframe is dependent on package selection and client needs.

What is a digital release?A digital release refers to the permission granted to a client to use the content provided by Samantha Joy Creative to outline specific rights and limitations associated with the use of the content. A digital release includes usage on social media, websites, marketing materials, and other online platforms, as outlined in your agreement. However, it does not transfer copyright ownership to you - Samantha Joy Creative retains the rights to the images and content. Certain restrictions apply, including limitations on resale, advertising use, or modifications without prior approval. If you require additional usage rights, such as permission to print the images, a separate agreement is needed and will incur a fee.

What options do I have if I can't find a package that suits my needs?Don't think you see a package that suits your needs or have a specific project in mind? Not to worry! Email hey@samanthajoycreative.com or fill out the contact form with details of your creative project, specific requirements, your timeline, and anything else you think is necessary to provide an accurate quote. Within 24-48hrs you will receive a custom, Ã la carte quote from me.

What happens if our session runs over the allocated time?Depending on the circumstances, overtime is billed in 30min increments and will be manually added to your invoice based on the services provided and package rates. Overtime of reasonable amount is usually forgiven 😉

What happens if I want to reschedule or cancel my shoot?I understand that things can unexpectedly come up. If you need to reschedule, please provide as much notice as possible, and I’ll do my best to accommodate a new date. Ideally more than 48hrs prior to our scheduled shoot. Cancellations may result in the forfeiture of your deposit, as it secures your booking. For full details on rescheduling, cancellations, and fees, please refer to the terms outlined in your contract.

Are models and/or props included in my shoot?Models and props are not included with any package, although may be required for the execution of your shoot/s. These can absolutely be organised with the appropriate time-frame and for an additional pre-approved fee. Please let me know ASAP what you may require in terms of talent and/or props to ensure these match the creative vision as best they can!

Why do you have a minimum session sign up on your content subscription packages?To put it simply... Consistency! My subscription packages are designed to help brands build a strong, recognisable visual presence rather than relying on one-off shoots (usually with multiple different photographers!). A minimum commitment ensures that we can work together to achieve a representative stream of high-quality content for your business and gives us time to fine-tune and really nail your aesthetic so you get the most out of our collaboration!

Why do I need to sign a contract?I know it may seem scary but I promise it's not! A contract helps keep things clear and stress-free for both of us. It outlines exactly what’s included in your package, how the process works, and things like payment terms, usage rights, and cancellations. It protects both of us and really just makes sure we're both on the same page.

What happens if I am unhappy with the content provided?My goal is always to deliver content you love! That’s why I take the time to understand your brand, vision, and goals before we even begin shooting. There are a range of systems in place to ensure that we are both on the same page when it comes to expectations and deliverables from both parties. If you have any concerns, they must be raised within 48 hours of receiving your content. If something isn’t quite right, I offer one round of minor revisions (with any package) to fine-tune the final edits. If you’re after more significant changes, we can chat about additional revisions at an extra cost if absolutely necessary. My priority will always be to make sure you walk away with content that your brand and business truly resonate with!
